bio
Born in Abitibi-Témiscamingue in Quebec, and based in Nelson in British Columbia since 2018, Véronique Trudel is a singer-songwriter whose compositions are rooted in folk and traditional music.
Whether accompanying herself on piano or guitar, her agile, powerful and expressive voice sings her inspirations with candor and authenticity. Her emotional musical ambiences are anchored in texts that evoke love, nature, social issues, the chaos of parenthood... She delves into the inconsistencies that inhabit us, seeks to illuminate the unspoken, the taboos to better normalize them. Véronique, who wants to make people laugh and cry, is an explorer of the soul and the heart.
"Her lyrics, as well as her voice, are imbued with great sensitivity, a blend of depth and authenticity that will touch hearts..."

"...the journey of a woman who lived the loneliness of pain, but who was too big to be small. It is the calmness of a woman filled with doubts but who kept her naivety beyond the challenges. This quest for gentleness makes us want to be a better person and to forgive, both to ourselves and others.
It's a post-fight EP."
